Kathy Penev is a qualified Naturopath who holds an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy. She is a member of the Society of Natural Therapists and Researchers Inc. (SNTR). Kathy Penev of Healthwise Natural Therapies is not a Medical Practitioner/Acupuncturist/Chinese Medicine Practitioner and/or is not registered with the Chinese Medicine Board.
Kathy Penev is a general health service provider who is not legally required to be registered under National Health Practitioner regulation law. She practises under the national Code of Conduct that sets standards to general health service providers who are not regulated by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. The code became Victorian law on 1 February 2017. Any possible breach of this code by a non-registered provider may be grounds for a complaint to, or investigation by, the Health Complaints Commissioner (HCC).
Kathy does not treat or diagnose disease. As a Naturopath, aims to focus on the cause of your health concerns and addresses the underlying origin of the imbalance. Western herbal medicines, homeopathy and vitamin/ mineral and nutritional supplementation form an important and vital part of Kathy’s health plan. Your body will gain the correct nutrients it needs to repair and heal. This requires a proper, healthy and nutritious diet with the inclusion of natural remedies taken on a daily basis.
Iris analysis, which includes ‘Constitutional Iridology’ (inherited influences), will also form the basis of your health plan. Iridology is an analysing tool that examines your eyes. Iridology does not diagnose disease..
She will prepare western herbal, vitamin, mineral and homeopathic supplements for you based on the information you share with us of your own free will. Kathy will also recommend naturopathic health plans including, but not limited to, Dorn Spinal Therapy, Massage, Pranic Healing and Low Level Laser Light Therapy. Kathy Penev is qualified in Low Level Laser Light Therapy – a non-invasive treatment not to be confused with IPL (Intense Pulse Laser). Kathy Penev denies any responsibility for any possible adverse reaction that may occur if the instructions or advice given is not followed as recommended.
